Terms & Conditions

1. Services
DeliveryGuard is a platform that enables online sellers to protect their cash-on-delivery (COD) shipments from non-picked-up packages.
The system works by having the customer leave a card as a guarantee via a secure Stripe payment link before the package is shipped. Funds on the card are reserved (card hold) but not charged upfront.
If the customer does not pick up the package, the seller can charge the reserved amount to cover shipping costs. If the customer picks up the package, the hold is automatically released and nothing is charged.
2. Subscription & Billing
DeliveryGuard offers the following plans:
- Free — 3 free confirmations to test the platform, no card required
- Starter — for sellers with lower order volume, email support
- Growth — for growing businesses, includes API access and advanced analytics
- Pro — unlimited confirmations, priority support, API and dedicated account manager
All subscriptions are billed monthly. Users can cancel at any time, and access remains active until the end of the paid period.
Stripe charges a processing fee of approximately 4.4% which is deducted from the charged amount for non-picked-up packages. This fee covers card processing costs.
3. Wallet & Payouts
All charged amounts for non-picked-up packages accumulate in the user's DeliveryGuard wallet balance.
Users can request a payout from their wallet at any time. Payouts are processed manually and typically take 2-3 business days.
The minimum payout amount is 2,000 RSD (or equivalent in local currency).
Wallet funds can also be used to pay for the monthly subscription.
4. Liability
DeliveryGuard is not responsible for disputes between sellers and buyers. The platform serves solely as a tool for creating financial confirmations and card holds.
DeliveryGuard is not a payment processor. All transactions are processed through Stripe, which is a PCI DSS certified payment processor.
The seller is responsible for correctly marking shipment status (picked up or not picked up) and for fair use of the charging system.
